We Are Back!

Last Sunday we had our first meeting in the refurbished chapel. It was also the first time we had been together in person since 15 March, just before the first UK national lockdown began. It has been a long nine months.

So it was a very significant and emotional morning. Helen Culy led us with a reflection on what the Holy Spirit’s overshadowing of Mary, referred to in Luke 1:35, meant for her. We put the new audio-visual system to good use, watching a video of the Christmas Story and – since we are still not permitted to sing – some Christmas worship videos.

We are now planning to meet Sunday by Sunday at our usual time of 10.30am. Adults are required to bring and wear a face covering as per the government’s rules, and socialising in the church before and after the service is not permitted. The seating is arranged in family bubbles in order to maintain a suitable distance between groups.

If you are a visitor who would like to meet with us, please let us know in advance that you are coming by sending us a message with the contact form.
