Living the New Life

  • 27 July 201827 February 2019
  • by Ian

At our new year’s day service, Judith challenged us to read Colossians 3:1-4, 12-17 every month for a year. Following our leaders’ vision day last week, where we felt God was calling us to “go deeper”, this scripture seems to take on a renewed significance for us.

“Going Deeper”

  • 27 July 201827 February 2019
  • by Ian

Last Saturday (21 July) the leaders spent an away day at the Holy Cross Convent in Bunny to think about our church vision. We’ve been there before for leaders’ away days and it’s a lovely venue.

But we weren’t there just to enjoy the peace and quiet (even if that was one benefit of being away from the kids!) We began with Helen and Jamie Culy guiding us through thinking about what vision is and why we need it.

  • 30 June 20172 March 2019
  • by Ian

It’s been a quiet few months, but we’ve finally heard back from the BU Listed Buildings Committee. There are a few details that they want added to our application, but once we have done that they are happy for us to make the formal application.

So we’re getting there. One final push and we should have the application submitted – finally!
